Can other people ride a vehicle that I booked?
No, multiple drivers are not allowed. Only the primary rider listed on the trip is allowed to ride the booked vehicle.

How do I get approved to ride?
We use EagleShare to vet all of our potential renters and this is their process:

  • We run all renters through the approval process when they book a
motorcycle to keep our platform safe for both owners and renters.

  • We suggest that you check immediately after checking out the reservation so that when the host confirms the booking, you will be reviewed by our Insurance Provider.

  • You MUST be the one who rides the vehicle. We require your motorcycle endorsement to be at least 6 months.

VERIFYING YOUR ACCOUNT

If you are a first-time renter, you are required to verify your account. During the check-in process, you will be prompted to log in or create an account if you do not have an account with EagleRider or EagleShare. Once you are logged in, you will be asked to provide:

  • Email address: enter an email address that you check frequently. When you do, we’ll send a verification link to that address. Follow the link to verify your email.

  • Mobile Number: enter the number for a text-enabled phone in your name. VoIP (Google Voice, MagicJack, etc.), landline, or toll-free numbers are NOT accepted and will be rejected after. Once you provide your mobile number, we’ll send you a verification code.

GETTING APPROVED FOR YOUR TRIP

Once your account is verified, you will complete your Online Check-In. Ensure the information you provide during your Online Check-In is correct since this helps to verify your identity. Inaccurate information will affect or delay your approval status and may cancel your trip. Using your driver’s license, you must provide your legal name, address, date of birth, and photos (front and back) to complete your Online Check-In.

We start the rider verification process after you are checked in and the host accepts your trip.

In most cases, approval is immediate. In some cases, we need additional information to verify your identity. You might be contacted by our Insurance Provider in that case.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I’VE BEEN APPROVED?

If you are approved, you will receive an email to inform you your trip is now confirmed.

If you are rejected, your trip will be canceled. You can view the reject reason on the Trip Details Page under the Cancelation Reason section.
